greta hamilton (they/she) is a writer of poems, literary non-fiction, and emails. they are a theorist of contemporary art with a focus on environmental and land-based processes. from a queer and feminist perspective, greta has developed exhibitions, public programs, and written criticism on topics including public bathing, artist gardens, and traditional European craft practices. their essays and poems can be found in C Magazine, esse, Public Parking, Peripheral Review, Grain Magazine, Hammam Magazine, Leste, and numerous exhibition texts distributed by international galleries and artist-run-centres. greta holds an MA in Art History and Visual Culture from the University of Guelph, and a BA Honours in Visual and Critical Studies from the Ontario College of Art and Design.Â
they currently reside on the traditional territory of Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg, covered by the Williams Treaties, home to Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Algonquin, Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomi peoples, in Oshawa ON.
